1981 Makes A Difference

Our Class Financial Aid Fund Has Awarded Over $67,000 to Students Since 2001

Our Class excels in many things, but one of the most significant contributions we have made together as a class is to support present and future Wellesley Women.  We set another class record in June 2016  -- of 66.2% -- participation in giving to the College.
In 1991, our class established the CLASS OF 1981 FINANCIAL AID FUND with a gift of $25,000 in celebration of our 10th Reunion.  Our fund has been supporting students since 1992.  Since 2001, our fund has awarded $67,617.   (Approximately another $10,000 was awarded between 1992 and 2000.)
Our gift has made a real difference to Wellesley students and our fund will continue to support future Wellesley Women for many generations to come.
Our strong participation (in the top 10 of all alumnae classes) is one way we show our support for Wellesley's unwaivering commitment to providing the very best education for smart and talented young women across the country and around the world.
